Nhaka Yevatema Heritage Established 2011

Nhaka YeVatema Heritage is a Private Voluntary Organisation that was found by Bishop Doctor Tichaona Maume in 2011, having witnessed first hand heart disturbing and spirit provoking experiences in the communities he engaged in and of some of the congregants at Christ Alive Gospel Ministries, a church he founded and presides over. He himself being a beneficiary of social welfare education program throughout his secondary education was quick to respond to the various needs of anyone he would come across, regardless of religious beliefs or political inclination. Dr Maume would fund most of this work using his personal funds. As he continued his good work in the community, the numbers seeking his philanthropic assistance increased so much that he had to also seek help from close friends and relatives.

Nhaka YeVatema is a vernacular Shona phrase that means a Heritage For The People. The organisation was registered as a Private Voluntary Organisation on the 11th of November 2016, Registration Number: PVO 07/16. The PVO is born out of passionate works of the Christ Alive Gospel Ministries founder and President, the organisation does observe the Law and Constitution of Zimbabwe. The organisation's operational budget is funded mainly by a few kind donors, relevant stakeholders and income generating projects and programs run by the Heritage.
